Paint & Sip: Hummingbirds
Your inner child is invited to practice being playful while learning something new! You will be surprised how easy it is to create a simple painting with acrylic on canvas when there is no pressure to be perfect. As Picasso once said “All children are artists. The problem is how to remain one when they grow up!” We promise to break things down and make it simple and fun. Our philosophy is that there are no mistakes, only learnings!
This months topic is Hummingbirds! Join us as we celebrate national hummingbird day by painting these amazingly tiny creatures! All supplies are included and no prior painting experience is necessary.
New Moon New You (On Zoom)
If you want to learn about Neuro Art in a group setting, please join us on Zoom for our New Moon, New You programming. We are drawing a powerful spirit fish, such as a Salmon or Sturgeon. These fish are a beautiful metaphor for embodying strength, determination, and wisdom. These qualities are crucial when facing life's challenges. There are many instances in life where such perseverance and resilience are essential. Reflect on which area of your life demands the qualities of strength, determination, and wisdom. What obstacles are you currently facing, and how can you channel the spirit of the Salmon or Sturgeon to swim through and overcome them.
Wine Bottle Paint & Sip
Dawn from Shine Bright St. Pete will be hosting a wine bottle Paint and Sip. Bring your favorite bottle to paint and watch it “shine bright” when you add string lights to the inside. We will also have plenty of bottles on site if you do not want to bring your own. If you wish to zoom in, you will need some glass paint and any decorative supplies such as ribbons or gems. We can also let you know where to purchase the lights for the inside.

Artist Reception: Russell Hughes
ARTIST STATEMENT
Russell Hughes studied photography through high school and college, though he ultimately pursued a career in High Tech, with a BS in accounting and MBA in International Business. With his passion for photography going back almost 50 years, his recent retirement has finally allowed Russell to pursue his love of creating art with a camera and focus on his photography more fully.
This collection of images includes photographs from his travels over the last 10+ years and were shot using a variety of cameras, from iPhones, Canon, Fuji, and Nikon.
His images frequently explore geometry, texture, color and symmetry. He focuses on creating the image within the camera and editing through the lens. Most of the images have not been cropped, nor have any filters been used. Minimal work on color correction was the only post creation retouch.

New Moon, New You - Neurographic Art
June 6, 2024: 7-8:30 CST, live from our Peoria location
Monthly Topic: Abundance
Neurographic art is a therapeutic, intuitive art form developed in 2014 by Russian psychologist, artist, and architect, Dr. Pavel Piscarev. It is a simple, calming process that transforms stress, anxiety, and discomfort into something more peaceful, beautiful and positive. Since this art form stimulates the development of new neural pathways in the brain, it can create change faster than traditional hypnotherapy. The healing process then continues when you sleep since you process your art through dreamwork.
Not only does this technique offer joy and comfort, but it can also be a lot of fun!
Bring your journal if you wish, and expect a relaxing evening of therapeutic art with Jeanna Fearon, Art Therapist/Hypnotherapist.
