Reiki Meets Parts Work
Reiki Meets Parts Work is a gentle, trauma-informed healing experience that blends Reiki energy healing with Internal Family Systems (IFS)-inspired parts work in a guided meditative group setting. Through grounding, body awareness, and compassionate curiosity, participants are invited to connect with the parts of themselves that are seeking to be seen, understood, and supported. As these inner parts are explored, Reiki energy is directed to wherever healing is most needed for these parts, creating a space for emotional release, nervous system regulation, self-compassion, and deeper connection between parts and Self. No experience with Reiki or parts work is necessary—just a willingness to slow down, listen inward, and receive. Each gathering offers a supportive environment for healing, integration, and reconnecting with the wisdom that already exists within.

Artist Reception for Lisa Roome, Shine Bright Artist of the Season: Summer 2026
What treasures have washed ashore?
One of the greatest privileges of my life has been spending summers at my family's beach house along the shores of Lake Michigan. From childhood through my junior year of high school, I spent every summer there, and those memories remain deeply rooted in who I am.
To this day, I find my greatest sense of peace near the water. Walking the shoreline, breathing in the fresh air, and discovering the treasures the lake leaves behind has become both a ritual and a source of inspiration.
Rocks, beach glass, driftwood, feathers, and other natural treasures become my artistic materials. Each one tells a story, carrying the marks of time, weather, and the journey it has taken. By gathering and arranging these gifts from nature, I create artwork that celebrates the beauty hidden in the ordinary and reminds us that creativity can be found wherever we take the time to look.”

Artist Workshop with Lisa Roome, Shine Bright Artist of the Season: Summer 2026
Can Rocks Be a Work of Art? You Betcha!
Join Shine Bright's Summer 2026 Artist of the Season, Lisa Roome, for a creative workshop inspired by the treasures of Lake Michigan and the beauty found in nature.
For Lisa, walking the shoreline has always been a source of peace and inspiration. Rocks, beach glass, driftwood, feathers, and other natural discoveries become more than simple objects—they become works of art, each with its own story to tell.
In this hands-on class, Lisa will guide you in creating your own unique rock sculpture using a variety of stones she has collected over the years. You're also welcome to bring a few meaningful rocks of your own to incorporate into your piece, making your artwork even more personal.
As you explore balance, shape, texture, and composition, you'll discover how creativity can emerge from the simplest materials. No artistic experience is necessary—just curiosity, imagination, and a willingness to see the extraordinary in the ordinary.
Come create, connect, and experience the joy of transforming nature's treasures into a one-of-a-kind work of art to take home.
